About Color
Color is a 5-piece band based in Denver, CO. The band’s roots run deep as some members have played music together since they were kids at summer camp and through high school while the primary vocals and harmonies merge the sounds of husband-wife duo, Ben and Cheri (and don’t worry, no Fleetwood Mac situation here).
But speaking of Fleetwood Mac, Color’s sound weaves in classic rock rhythms and you’ll often hear them subconsciously noodling on a melody from The Doobie Brothers between songs during a practice sesh.
Original songs and cover choices also highlight blues and soul vibes, ranging from fun and poppy to deep and twisty. Some of Color’s favorite Denver venues played include Globe Hall, Ophelia’s, Three Kings (RIP), The Walnut Room, and Lost Lake.
